As Girls Who Code club our mission is to empower girls to bridge the gender gap in the Computer Science community. Girls Who Code club is an inclusive organization for all the minorities. It has over 3000 clubs. We are one of them. For every 5 or more girls in each club, you would be part of a sisterhood with over 15,000 girls! We are all in this together.

I am Asude Baykal and I am a junior majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and minoring in Computer Science. As one of the few women in most of my classes, I want to encourage other girls to explore the possibilities of computer related fields.
My name is Fernanda Sesto, I’m a first-year double majoring in Computer Science and Business. I went to a computer science high school where I was the only female student so I am strongly passionate about closing the gender gap in this field and bringing more opportunities to girls and women.
